Marvel Legends Customs

it’s so funny to know that Filipinos, like me, extended their art skills even in the scale of customizing marvel legends. i’ve read about different customizers inside and outside the Philippines and i would like to focus more on Filipinos first.

one of the famous and greatest customizers of both Marvel Legends™ and DCUC™  figures is loosecollector or sir dave as we usual call him around ptk. her regularly post custom figures around ptk and shares it to us. he also accept commissions and they sure are in high quality status. dremeled figs, professionaly painted, and if you are going to see it for yourself, you’ll say it is awesome. for real.

 i also met bro eddie_grayce and he’s the one who made most of my custom figures.

most of them are resculpted and repainted, all we used as fodder are former ML figures that was release by toybiz. hasbro figs sucks though

The New Year Youtube Posts

during New Year’s eve, i was really busy fixing everything up and making lots of changes in my room, putting all the unwanted things away. they are all polished and kept in a dust free platic case. when i was done with all things, i turned into my collection and rearranged everything that i didnt pose before, released some of it from their respective boxes and some are placed already in my new display cabinet. i placed new stuffs on the open rack and grouped the others on my closed cab. anyway, the whole place was a pure mess and yes, it took me all day to finish every little thing up

again, back to my collection, the whole thing about it was, this year, i’m so into customs and got really strucked by its nature, i got new characters, released and unreleased ones and all was done by a very good friend, ptk member, eddie_grayce

i focused on the x-men line and made some posed for one of my black spots along my display cab, i got amazed how x-men and all was formed and saw this sub-group or team also affiliated with the x-men,X-FACTOR. this team was great, saw every piece of detail and character infos,also downloaded cbr files of comics about them. they’re like formed out of nowhere, all from different walks of life and all. anyway, it’s cool to have figures of these guys. 

really is odd that i search fodder for the parts and really spends time for these things but hey!, it’s how i enjoy life, you think it’s weird? well get a life

Happy Christmas TO ALL!!!

it’s kind of an awkward feeling waking up from a sleep at 24th this morning and wearing a long face due to so many chores. anyway, i regularly check my plurk, ptk, multiply, this one and facebook (so, where is friendster?) and then i looked around youtube and at last!! FINALLY!! another WHAT THE!? from marvel. well that’s about it. a lame post and a lame crap but hey!!!! it’s a greeting from M.O.D.O.K.

The Marvel Universe Line

i was at the toy store a couple of days ago and yes, i was looking for something new, something cool, i supposed. i did check my current line which is Marvel Legends (formerly ToyBiz’s and now Hasbro) and Marvel Universe, oh and yeah, this is the 3.75″ line and many have said that this is the one that looks like divisoria toys!

 i just felt so weird buying stuffs like this which consist of fucking repaints and yes, SAME MOLD! SAME SCULPT…just new paint apps. but anyway, they look good when displayed and yes, some things that i am expecting from ML, the 6″ line, materialized on this scale.

 the line is really expensive knowing that is 3.75″ and less on articulation but hey, the figs, the ideas, the molds are fucking great. the only hard thing about this line is that the waves kept on coming and fuck, it’s 550.oo pesos here in the philippines. 

some figs sucks and some rocks but majority of the figs are cool, well fuck those REPAINTSand fuck those re-issues. and mind them. REJECT and Fuck-ups. like the IM STEALTH WITH NO SHOULDER PADS
